Moomba is on a mission to bring this incredible legacy to you. We partner with fearless women-led Farmer Producer Organizations, a powerful network of thousands of small-scale farmers. With an age-old craft passed down through generations, these incredible women brave natural ponds and water bodies to harvest every single makhana pop.

Their journey doesn’t end there. The raw makhana arrives at our central facilities in Bihar, where it undergoes a magical transformation. Using our patented, solar-powered drying technology, we lock in all the nutrition while honoring a commitment to sustainability. Then, we roast it to perfection and coat it in world-class flavors, creating a crunch that’s miles ahead of old-school popcorn.
